*Organ & Organists

Organ music plays a very important role in the Asbury First worship experience. In early 1996 our Austin organ was refitted with a new, state of the art, digital action. This important upgrade into the future has enhanced the overall capabilities of our organ and allowed us to offer even more of this wonderful instrument in worship and concert.

Asbury First Organists

Duane Prill

Joined the Asbury First music staff in the Fall of 1996. Prior to Asbury he served as Director of Music at Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Transfiguration in Rochester. Duane holds a MM in Organ Performance from The Eastman School of Music and also serves as Tonal Director for Parsons Pipe Organ Builders in Canadaigua.

David Strong

Assistant Organist since 1987, is a graduate of the Ithaca College School of Music, the University of Rochester, and Rochester Institute of Technology. In addition to his duties at Asbury First, he is the Associate Dean for Business Administration at Cornell University School of Hotel Administration.
